The Acoustic affair

acoustic affairCurrently in it's 16th season, the Acoustic Affair held it's first show in February 2002 and has now played host to hundreds of well selected artists in venues throughout Glasgow and Scotland. Among others, these locations include the Arches, ABC, Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall, ity Hall Recital Room and Tron. Programmes have also been created for a number of Scottish festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2007, Celtic Connections 2006 and 2007 and the Merchant City Festival 2008. We continue to build upon these previous, notable successes, providing a regular showcase platform for the best songwriters.

A wide range of musical styles and artists, both local and touring. This side of PM Music has grown out of the success of the Acoustic Affair into a network that regularly promotes through ABC, Arches, Barfly, Nice n Sleazys, and Stereo, as well as in other venues in the city.

PM Music Booking Agent

Through the success of our live shows, PM Music has been contracted as booking agent for a number of high profile event and festivals. These include the Fairtrade Gathering (pic below) at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh, held on the 1st of July 2005 to highlight the Make Poverty History campaign and hosted by Bianca Jagger.

Other events have included the Ska Tent at the Get Loaded Festival 2005 and the ongoing contract to programme the music stages at Big in Falkirk on behalf of UZ Events, to date in 2006 - 2009. During the last four years the Big in Falkirk music stage has played host to Human League, 10cc, Sandi Thom, Orson, The Skatalites, Levellers, Amy MacDonald, Peat Bog Fairies, and Midge Ure among others. www.biginfalkirk.com
